A friendly pub-restaurant just to the west of Petersfield the Seven Stars is perfect for watching the world go by.

Our Heritage. Hall and Woodhouse is one of the few remaining regional family brewers, brewing our award-winning Dorset ales and offering warm hospitality at our pubs for over 230 years.

Our Food. We use regional food partners, typically from family businesses like us, who provide us with quality ingredients that our team of talented chefs (not microwave technicians!) use to create fresh, unpretentious, seasonal dishes.

Our Hospitality. We employ nice people who think like us and enjoy the same things that we do; food & drink, and, perhaps more importantly take real pleasure in looking after people and making them happy.

Our Location: Located in the beautiful village of Stroud, just to the west of Petersfield. Old furniture, pictures, blackboards and books, flagstones and fires give relaxed and comfortable surroundings, and a lovely terrace and garden provide the perfect backdrop for lazy spring days.

Monday to Saturday: 11am - 11pm

Sunday: 11am - 10.30pm

Food Service Times:

Monday to Thursday: 12noon - 9pm

Friday & Saturday: 12noon - 9.30pm

Sunday: 12noon - 8.30pm

Sharing Menu

It's nice to share, why not try our sharing menu offer - two dine for £20, with a starter and a pudding to share and a main meal each. Perfect for couples who want a taster to begin and a little bit of something sweet after their main meal.

The offer will be available from The Seven Stars Monday - Friday, 12pm – 5pm.
